The vision of The Educated Singles Club is to create a global and safe community of well-educated singles. We want to create a global community where members can connect for creating personal relationships with like-minded individuals. We also want to create a community so open that people can connect without having a long-term relationship in mind. It is also our vision to organise members-only events in major cities around the world around topics of typical professional, social or cultural interest, not speed-dating events.

What is the purpose of The Educated Singles Club?

 Dating is, of course, the primary reason for people to apply for membership in the club, but many more reasons are in play as well. You decide, as a member, how and at what pace you want to network and connect with fellow members. We know from our research that educated singles are very diversified in their approach to dating. Most of our members are very experienced with relationships, so they know what they want and don't want. Most of our members are also fed up with traditional dating sites because many of them have fake profiles and profiles from people who turn out to someone very different from the image they have created of themselves in their profile.

So in short, the purpose of The Educated Singles Club is to create a platform where members can connect, network, socialise and date at their own pace.

We are different in the way we earn money.

Most dating sites offer you to sign up for free. As an educated single, you surely know what that means, namely that your profile information is the real product that can be sold to e.g. marketing firms. One of the things we discovered when starting up was that a handful of companies own a large number of the existing dating sites. That way they can collect information from millions of people and monetise that information when they sell it to marketing firms and other interested parties.

That will never happen with your information in The Educated Singles Club. It was one of the founders' core principles that privacy should be protected and defended at all times. That is why you have to pay a membership fee, simply because we don't earn money from selling the information you write in your profile. The Educated Singles Club only warn money from membership fees, advertisers and events. 

As mentioned above a few companies own thousands of dating sites. The Educated Singles Club is a privately owned company which has no other sites and doesn't share information with anyone. We have no external investors who can force us to compromise our values to increase profits.
