The Educated Singles Club is the global club for singles who have at least a masters degree. All membership applications are thoroughly assessed before a membership is granted. This way, you as a member can rest assured that all the fellow members are who they pretend to be.
Being home alone at Christmas is not a disaster
We know that many of our members will be alone during Christmas. But that is not necessarily a bad thing.. many people are stressed out during Christmas because I have to be together with family members that they don’t really like and they’re stressed out because Christmas in many families is a very expensive thing where are the expectations are very high.
Not being together with anyone, at Christmas actually gives you a lot of freedom to do what you want and not obey the expectations of other people especially your family.
Last year we organised the Christmas dating were members of the educated single club could invite other members for Christmas. We got a number of positive feedback from that and we considered doing it again this year.,
Various reasons we didn’t get around to that time, but we promise you that we will offer it again next year.
You might think you are unique because you have to spend Christmas alone, but many more than you might expect are doing exactly the same thing and many are doing it by choice.
Christmas is in many places hyped by media and advertisement that portrayed the happy family together at Christmas where everything is good and everyone is happy. But that commercial image is very far from reality in most cases..
Our advice is for you to focus on what makes you happy. What kind of people are you happy being together with or are your most happy actually being on your own? We are all different.. don’t forget that so what might be suiting other people is not necessarily the best thing for you.
And no matter whether you are alone Christmas because of your own choice or because of the circumstances you are always in control of your attitude to it.

I will be alone at Christmas with my dogs and that is entirely my choice. I never liked Christmas and the commercial hype around it and I am not religious in any way.
My take is you can be together with other people any other time in a much more relaxed and informal setting at any other time. I will host a big new years eve party though, and will also host a champagne party when trump stops breathing
